A hat

I finally finished knitting Jason's birthday hat. It turned out way too big, and my mattress stitch looks like an airplane crash site, but I haven't completed a project for a while so it feels good.

Unfortunately, this hat allowed me to develop a taste for mildly expensive yarn. Curses!

Fascinator

I have made my first fascinator! It was really easy to do. I used a hair clip, felt, and medical tape; I sewed the felt onto the hair clip with thread, and then glued the feathers to it with regular school glue. The feathers are guinea, pheasant, and I think peacock. Everyone should make them! Or you can buy them from me. They cost around $30 in stores, which is such a rip-off.
